EV charging in Halkidiki: a free charger where you stay
Lora Family Apartment in Nikiti, the first village on the Sithonia peninsula of Halkidiki, has its own electric-car charger on the property. It is free for guests and has no usage limits, so you can arrive with a low battery and leave with a full one.

How long does charging take?
A 7.4 kW charger adds up to about 7.4 kWh of energy per hour. For most electric cars that is roughly 35–50 km of range per hour, so one night at the apartment is enough to charge most batteries from nearly empty to full. Your car's on-board charger sets the real limit: a car that accepts less AC power will charge more slowly.
Driving here by electric car
From Thessaloniki airport (SKG): about 85 km, roughly 1 h 30 min. The route follows the Thessaloniki–Nea Moudania road and continues to Sithonia; Nikiti is the first village on the peninsula.
From Sofia: about 390 km, roughly 5 h 30 min including the Kulata–Promachonas border crossing. The route continues past Serres and Thessaloniki, then towards Nea Moudania and Nikiti. Plan your charging stops on the way with a charging-map app; once here, you can charge overnight.
Charge while you stay
The apartment is a 65 m², 2-bedroom ground-floor home with a private garden, for up to 5 guests. Nikiti beach is a 13-minute walk and the nearest supermarket 3 minutes on foot, so the car can stay plugged in while you are here. Inside there is Starlink Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a full kitchen.

- A mandatory environmental tax of €8 per night is added (Greek law).
- Early bird: 10% off the nightly price when you book at least 60 days ahead.
- Open 10 April – 30 September; closed in winter. No monthly rates.

How to book

- The host usually replies within a few hours to confirm whether your dates are free and the exact total: nightly price, €8/night environmental tax and any early-bird discount.
- To confirm the booking, pay a 30% deposit by bank transfer.
- Pay the balance in cash on arrival. Check-in is self check-in from 15:00.
